Bodywork Services
Every horse moves differently, which is why each session is tailored to the individual horse's needs. Using evidence-based bodywork and therapeutic massage techniques, I work to identify and address areas of muscular tension, improve mobility, and support overall comfort and performance. Whether your horse is a high-level athlete, a young horse beginning its career, a weekend partner, or a retired companion, bodywork can play an important role in maintaining soundness and well-being.
What to expect
Initial Session
Each session begins with a discussion about your horse's history, workload, and any concerns you may have. A static and dynamic assessment is performed before bodywork to evaluate posture, muscle development, and areas of restriction.
Approximately 75 minutes
Follow-Up/Maintenance Session
A follow-up session designed to maintain mobility and address recurring areas of tension previously identified.
Approximately 45-60 minutes
After each session, you'll receive feedback on my findings, recommendations for aftercare, and exercises or management suggestions when appropriate. The frequency of sessions depends on your horse's age, workload, competition schedule, and individual needs. Together, we'll create a plan that best supports your horse's long-term health and performance.
