About me
As a lifelong equestrian and horse owner, I possess a profound understanding of the unique partnership between horse and rider, as well as the critical importance of ensuring that horses remain comfortable, confident, and capable of performing at their optimal level. Currently, I own two Off-the-Track Thoroughbreds. One has successfully competed at the 3* level in eventing before becoming my partner, opening many avenues and providing invaluable experiences in my riding career. The second horse transitioned directly from the racetrack to my care, and the process of restarting him has afforded me a comprehensive insight into the physical and mental demands that young horses encounter as they cultivate strength, balance, and confidence in their new careers.
These experiences have equipped me with the patience and expertise necessary to work effectively with horses of varying ages, personalities, and levels of experience. From young, sensitive Thoroughbreds and high-energy sport horses to seasoned competition partners and retired companions, I firmly believe that every horse merits individualized care that promotes their comfort and enhances their movement.

My Background/Expertise
My background combines hands-on experience in high-performance sport horses with a strong foundation in equine science and veterinary medicine. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Animal and Avian Sciences from the University of Maryland, where I developed an in-depth understanding of equine anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and nutrition. During that time, I also worked as a veterinary technician at one of the nation's premier equine hospitals, gaining invaluable experience assisting veterinarians with lameness evaluations, emergency medicine, surgery, diagnostic imaging, and rehabilitation. Working alongside board-certified specialists strengthened my understanding of how bodywork complements veterinary care and supports equine health.

Industry Experience
My experience also includes serving as a working student for multiple 5* event riders, where I managed elite competition horses and learned firsthand the importance of maintaining soundness, recovery, and peak performance. These experiences, combined with my academic background, allow us to offer a unique and comprehensive approach to equine bodywork. We enjoy helping horses reach their full potential and being a part of their overall journey and healthcare, whether they are top competitors, cherished companions, or young horses just starting their careers.
